The Dead Daisies – Burn it down
Label: Spitfire music / SPV
Influenced by 70’s and early 80’s rock, The Dead Daisies sound is soulful and accessible – equal parts of Aerosmith, Bad Company and Foreigner: muscular vocals,
bluesy riffs, big choruses, powerful melodies and strong hooks.
With stellar musicianship and pulverizing live shows, fans across the globe are discovering the band that is bringing back Rock & Roll.
The Dead Daisies, formed in 2012 by guitarist David Lowy, are a musical collective created by a rotating line-up that has featured some of the best Rock musicians on the planet.
John Corabi (Mötley Crüe/The Scream)
David Lowy (Red Phoenix/Mink)
Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy/Whitesnake)
Deen Castronovo (Journey/Bad English)
“Burn It Down” is a muscular tour-de-force, a tornado of pounding drums, pulverizing bass, screaming guitars and in-your-face raw vocals.
Evoking the best of 70s Rock, with moments of Birmingham’s finest, blended with the early works of Boston’s best, “Burn It Down” will do just that:
Burn down everything in its path until there is nothing left standing.
Recorded in Nashville with Marti Frederiksen at the helm, the band finished their 4th studio album “Burn It Down” in December,
with Anthony Focx once again handling the mix and mastering legend Howie Weinberg adding his magic.
